About This Lens
The Clareon PanOptix Toric IOL combines the full trifocal vision of standard PanOptix with precision astigmatism correction in a single lens. The defocus curve mirrors that of standard PanOptix, confirming toric correction does not compromise visual range. Dr. Zelenak uses the ARGOS biometer and ORA System to precisely measure and confirm toric alignment during surgery.

Patient Candidacy
Who Is the Clareon PanOptix Toric Best For?
PanOptix Toric is recommended for patients with both cataracts and corneal astigmatism who want maximum spectacle independence.
- Patients with 0.75D or more of corneal astigmatism who want trifocal vision range
- Active patients wanting near, intermediate, and distance vision without glasses
- Patients without significant corneal irregularities or macular disease
Patients with irregular astigmatism (e.g. keratoconus) are generally not candidates for toric IOLs. A thorough corneal topography evaluation is required.
